Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a retro inspired platformer, handwriting calendar app, action platformer, and relaxation guide. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Bean’s Quest ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A retro inspired platformer with updated beautiful artwork. The game features five worlds, 50 levels, iCloud support, Game Center, and all of the classic platformer elements you know, and love. There’s also brand new physics based obstacles as well.
Draw Calendar ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A calendar app that lets you write on your calendar just like if you had the paper calendar hung up at your office, or house. You can bring each day up full screen to write, draw, sketch, and simply personalize in your own way to make it easier to identify items on your calendar.
Devious Dungeon ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: Get your action platforming shoes on because Ravenous Games has a new iOS title following up the League of Evil, and Random Heroes series. Devious Dungeon mixes a few genres by offering the action platforming base mixed with dungeon crawler ideas. Each time you’re given a random level that draws from five unique environments. There’s an endless style to each run, but you get to unlock checkpoints after the completion of every three levels. That means you get to restart at tougher stages while battling your way to boss battles.
Breathing Zone ($3.99 -> Free, Universal): A relaxation guide that focuses on targeting your breathing for just five minutes. The app can detect your breathing using the iOS device microphone, and then analyze it to come up with a targeted relaxation program.
