Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a smart clock, journal app, video editor, and puzzle challenge. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Cleu ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A smart clock app that learns your routine to personalize notifications and actions for you. It takes about a week to pick up on your schedule, and then the app can offer wakeup time, morning commute tracking, evening workout scheduling, and more. The app can also connect to Nest, Hue, Uber, Calendar, and more for scheduling.
Gratitude Journal ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A journal app with a focus that gives you a daily prompt to write five things that make you happy. The app offers notifications to remind you to write, and supports syncing and back-up of your entries. You can add photos for your best moments as well.
Videoshop – Video Editor ($2.99 -> Free, Universal): A video editing utility that lets you trim clips, add slow motion, merge clips, animate titles, apply video filters, and add in transitions. There’s also support for music, voice overs, subtitles, and photo slideshows with a clear breakdown during the entire editing process.
BOOMberCat ($3.99 -> Free, Universal): A puzzle challenge in which you have a limited number of moves to blast obstacles and enemies on floating islands. The game includes 30 levels that mix several game genres as you try to clear off each floating island in a given level.
