Guest Editor Topic Of The Week Revealed – Let Your Voice Be Heard

It’s time for your voice to be heard, as we at Apple’N’Apps introduce this week’s Guest Editor topic for you to write about, and have published on the site. As Editor-in-Chief here at Apple ‘N’ Apps, my goal is to present a balanced mix of news, reviews, and features along with compelling editorial on the burning issues, trends and (sometimes) controversial world that is the Apple universe.

As Apple ‘N’ Apps reach continues to extend we don’t want to lose sight of the fact that this is also meant to be a community.  Apple fans are known to be a savvy, curious and passionate bunch, so we think the conversation shouldn’t primarily be one-way.  And we want to change that.

Now you get to be the editor writing your view on one weekly topic related to the Apple and app universe. The topic for the week of November 7th is:

Your thoughts on the rumored Apple Television set.

There’s nothing hotter in the Apple world right now than the speculated Apple television set that has renewed interest since Steve Jobs’ quote from his biography. We invite our readers to weigh in with their own editorial on the Apple television set.

The assumption is that Apple is working on the set, and we want your thoughts on whether you’re interested, will it be successful, and will it change the entire television industry like the Mac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad before, in their respective genres. You can base your editorial on this news article, and we want a deluxe op/ed piece on the Apple TV from your perspective as it relates to the TV industry, broadcasters, and Siri.

All you have to do is write up your thoughts, and send it to us at [email protected]. Entries can be as long as you want, though 300-600 words in length is a good target, and it must be submitted by noon PT Sunday, November 13th. We’ll sift through all of the entries and select one Guest Editorial that will be front page news (complete with your own byline) on our site on Monday the 14th.

Check back weekly for the topic of the week, as we plan to have a new Guest Editor every week going forward. We’re looking forward to hearing your voice and sharing it with the Apple universe!
