If you’ve ever grabbed a few objects around you, and tried to make a collage, then Faces iMake will definitely be familiar. The app is from artist Hanoch Piven, who makes artwork by just grabbing things around the house, including foods, tools, and toys. With Faces iMake, you’re given a virtual workshop to create art of anything you want using objects rather than pens, pencils, and brushes. The app comes with eight main categories of objects with food, toys, instruments, candy, kitchen utensils, tools, school items, and buttons. There are over 30 different objects in each category providing so many different potential combinations.

The app features simply an amazing idea as you grab and arrange various objects, and soon start to see a face created. You can make more than faces, as you can create any kind of artwork you can possible think of. The idea is great, but it only extends so far, because the app’s usability is most important. The interface is outstanding making it easy to scroll through all of the objects, and then drag, resize, and rotate for precise placement. The app elements really get out of the way to let you focus on making your object collage.

Faces iMake ($1.99, iPhone / $1.99, iPad) is like nothing else in the App Store, and one of the best creation apps in the App Store. Composing object collages is as effortless as can be, and the only limits are what your imagination can come up with. You can simply place a number of objects on screen, and then start arranging, discarding, and replacing until you get your image just right. There are 20 included examples for inspiration, that you can also edit yourself. You even have the ability to add objects to your own photos, and it’s easy to save and share your creations.

Faces iMake is very enjoyable each and every time you open the app. It’s a must buy for only $2, that you will keep using over and over with unique results each time. Faces iMake will always make a smile on your face.
