In Pickpawcket, dogs have stolen cat art, and put it in their museums leaving it up to a cat burglar to steal it back. You play as the true meaning of a cat burglar in this game of stealth where you try to stay out of the line of sight of dogs. The game features 60 levels across three dog museums with each new level introducing new dog guards, dog distractions, and environments. Every level is an action puzzle as you need to sneak around trying to collect the cat rubies, and the one cat artwork on the opposite side of the door.

The game is extremely engaging so you really get into the feel of being stealth. When a dog catches you, you’ll probably jump because you’re so intertwined into the style. Every piece of art you steal is a famous painting redone with a cat theme providing a bonus laugh when you complete a level. The difficulty increases nicely to keep you moving between the levels, and there is some nice variability. You need to plan out your route to avoid detection while using dog costumes, TVs, and wind-up squirrels.

Pickpawcket ($0.99, Universal) is a fun iOS experience which requires a good balance of thought and action. The game has a nice design and controls, though dragging your finger on screen can become unresponsive from time to time. The game does a great job of extending the stealth action to you, as you sneak around various dogs.

Pickpawcket is a should buy as it really sneaks up on you, and keeps you coming back for more.
