One of the stands outs of Apple’s iPhone event earlier this week was ChAIR Entertainment’s conclusion to the trilogy, Infinity Blade III. The game is made with the new 64-bit A7 chip of the iPhone 5S in mind, but it will still be available on the iPhone 4 and newer, iPad 2 and newer, and iPod touch 4th gen and newer. Infinity Blade III is set to launch next Wednesday, September 18th alongside the release of iOS 7. The game maintains the ideas of the first two with the touch centric combat, but scaled up to epic proportions. The main new addition is eight worlds to battle in with each individual world the size of the entire Infinity Blade II. You will also get to play as two different characters with the new stealth female character Isa, joining the existing warrior Siris.
Infinity Blade III looks like an absolutely amazing iOS experience, and again it’s coming next Wednesday for $6.99. ChAIR Entertainment has posted the launch trailer as well as the opening animated short to get you back into the storyline of the first two games. Everything points to Infinity Blade III being a landmark release for the iOS platform, and we can’t wait.
